Ghaziabad to get 50 EV charging stations under the PM E-Drive scheme

Fifty electric vehicle charging stations will be set up in Ghaziabad at government offices, public parking lots and on arterial roads under the first phase of the PM E-Drive scheme, The Times of India reports. A total of 238 locations across Uttar Pradesh have been approved under the scheme. The stations will stay open to the public round the clock. Ghaziabad has over 70,000 EVs and around 40 charging stations at present.
